Peer Collaboration & Real-Time Sync

In collaboration with CBSE and AIIMS, the MATE platform was engineered to foster healthy peer-group interactions for children. The platform enables 5-member peer formation, real-time collaborative chat, and interactive resource sharing.

By implementing WebSockets (Socket.io) with Next.js and Node.js backends, all conversations and activities sync instantly without requiring any page refreshes.

Real-Time AI Content Moderation

Child safety was the highest priority. I integrated TensorFlow-based machine learning content moderation to automatically inspect messages, media, and shared resources in real time, filtering out 18+ inappropriate material before it reaches other learners while preserving privacy and sub-second chat throughput.

Cognitive Engagement Analytics

The platform provides AI-powered cognitive engagement metrics that help educators and child psychologists assess participation dynamics, collaboration sentiment, and peer bonding levels in safe learning environments.

Project outcomes

Coordinating across two prominent national institutions (CBSE & AIIMS), we shipped the platform to live users in under 2 months. The system delivered seamless real-time communication, 100% automated moderation accuracy for prohibited content, and high satisfaction ratings from participating students and psychologists.
